Three additional Deaneries have been established under the supervision of Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra bringing the total number of Deaneries in the Archdiocese to eight.
The newly created Deaneries are the Tema Deanery, headed by Very Rev. Fr. Felix Sesenyo Quarshie, the Battor-Ada Deanery, headed by Very Rev. Fr. Gabriel Ettienne Alhassan, and the Ashaiman Deanery, headed by Very Rev. Fr. Henry Kwame Duah (SVD).
