The Catholic Archdiocese of Accra set the synodal journey in motion when it held the synod consultation for the Deanery Core Teams (DCTs).
The session took place on Friday, 28 January 2022 at the Christ the King Parish Hall, Cantonments.
The DCTs are made up of individuals, clergy and laity, who are to see to it that the synod consultation process takes place in all the parishes of every deanery.
The consultation gave participants first hand experience on how it must be done in all parishes.
The consultation process also included prayer, Bible sharing, discussing of synod questions among others.
Rev Fr JP Tindana, the coordinator of the synodal journey in the Archdiocese of Accra, thanked all the participants for their active participation.
He encouraged them to replicate same experience in the parishes of the Archdiocese.
