Most Rev. Philip Naameh, president of the Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference and the Metropolitan Archbishop of Tamale has called on all in the conscience building of the youth adding that the country’s future depends solely on them.
The Prelate was speaking at the opening ceremony of the ongoing 2020 plenary assembly in the Keta Akatsi Diocese.
Archbishop Naameh said “the future of this country depends on the youth and therefore all must help in the conscience of the youth.”
For his part, the country can develop to a desirable stage if her youth are morally built with their conscience constantly ‘at work’.
Archbishop Naameh also indicated that individuals can tap into the transformatuve power of God to achieve a good course.
He said the word of God should guide individuals and become their shield in attaining a given feat.
“God’s word by itself is a transformative force. It’s an abounding power that transforms people”, he said.
This year’s session is being held at the St. Catherine’s Senior High School, in the Keta-Akatsi Diocese, under the tutelage of the Most Rev. Gabriel Edoe Kumorji.
The session brings together the Prelates across the country.
