His Excellency Most Rev. Henryk Mieczyslaw JAGODZINSKI, Ghana’s new Apostolic Nuncio is set to arrive in Ghana on Tuesday September 8, a new date scheduled following the postponement of an scheduled earlier date.
A statement to that effect issued by the Apostolic Nunciature in Ghana dated September 4 revealed the new date for his arrival and called for prayers for the safe arrival of the Nuncio.
Pope Francis, on Sunday, May 3, 2020, named Msgr Henryk Mieczysław Jagodziński as the new Apostolic Nuncio to Ghana becoming the ninth Nuncio to Ghana
Monsignor Jagodziński replaces former Nuncio Jean-Marie Antoine Joseph Speich who served for six years as ambassador of the Holy See and later transferred to Slovenia in March 2019.
