Rev Fr Thomas Betuyre, Parish Priest of Mary Mother of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Airport West says he has no regret responding to the Priestly ministry.
He made this known in a colorful installation ceremony held for him at the Parish last Sunday.
In an affirmative regard, Fr. Betuyre says, his encounter over the years as a Priest leaves him with no regret adding that the Ministry has even become a greater platform for him to experience God in a better sense.
“I have had no regret the past years and maybe the coming years for deciding to be a priest. I thank God that this is not an achievement of anything in my life but an opportunity to serve a church that I have loved from my mother’s womb till today”, he said.
Fr. Betuyre on another chance to serve mother church said, he will offer himself freely for the Priestly ministry when given the platform.
“It has been a wonderful time being a catholic and if I’m giving the opportunity after my death to come back into this world, I will remain a Catholic priest”, he affirmed.
GRATITUDE
Speaking at the installation ceremony, Fr. Betuyre expressed gratitude to the Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, the Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra and his outfit for availing the platform for him to serve Mother Church in his capacity as the Parish Priest.
“I stand here to express gratitude to the Archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra, Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie for finding me worthy and appointing me as Parish Priest of Mary Mother of Good Counsel”.
The church president, Mr. Francis Johnny Amegayibor on behalf of the church indicated their readiness to support him as he takes on the mantle of a Parish Priest adding that, the new priest brings on new experience which will aid the growth of the church.
“Fr Betuyre celebrated 17yrs in priesthood recently and without a doubt, he is bringing alot of experience to this parish”, he stressed.
