Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, a charismatic priest from Enugu, has been removed from the Adoration Ministry.
On Sunday, the Adoration Ministry reopened after being closed for three months.
The decision was made as a result of the Priest’s earlier political statements, which caused a stir within the church and some disquiet among his supporters.
Fr. Anthony Amadi, a priest from the Catholic Diocese of Enugu, has been assigned to oversee the Adoration Ministry in place of Fr. Mbaka.
Mbaka has been dispatched to the monastery. The change is effective right away.
According to a statement found by Agnus-Dei Media on the Catholic Broadcast Commission Nigeria’s Facebook page, the “Bishop Callistus Onaga Of The Catholic Diocese Of Enugu has appointed Rev Fr Anthony Amadi as the new director Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria – AMEN.
While Rev Father Ejike Mbaka was instructed to go to Monastery for deep prayers to ask God for proper directions over his CALLING which he made controversial.”
