The Fasting and Prayer (F&P) group in the Keta-Akatsi Catholic Diocese on Friday, June 12, donated some items to St. Theresa Catholic Church, Abor, to help the church as congregational gathering in the Diocese resumes with spelt out health protocols.

Items presented to the church included Veronica buckets, liquid soaps, tissues, washing bowls among others.

The donation exercise is in consonance with the group’s aim of reaching out to characters who may have need for such items amidst the global unrest.

Receiving the items, Priest in charge of St Theresa Catholic Church, Rev Fr Victor Ashiagbor lauded the group for taking the initiative and prayed for all members as they take up bigger tasks.

“The F&P group in its infancy stage has become the first group to make donation to the church” he added.

The group has various chapters in Afife, Abolove-Nolopi,Anyako, Afife, Atiteti, Dzogadze, Avenorpedo and Abor in the Keta-Akatsi Diocese.
