The Youth of the Keta Deanery in the Keta-Akatsi Diocese climaxed the year’s activities with the KETA DEANERY YOUTH STANDS IN WORSHIP Praise and Worship program.

It is an annual activity held on the 26th of December to thank God for the year that has come to an end and to pray for the next year.

On the 26th of December 2021, the event was held in St. Michael Co-Cathedral Church in Keta. WHAT SHALL I RENDER TO THE LORD FOR ALL HIS GOODNESS TO ME was the program’s topic. 116:12 (Psalm)

In his exhortation, Rev. Fr. Michael Selasi Combey, Assistant Priest of St. Michael Co-Cathedral Church, Keta, encouraged participants to strive to manifest God’s goodness in their daily lives.
He also advised that “we make an effort to thank God in our particular closets because we all received God’s goodness personally and that showing appreciation to God should not be limited to gatherings.”

Various singing ministries from across the parishes were present to lead the congregation in praise and worship of God.

On the same day, a new Deanery Youth Council was inaugurated, with Mr. NICHOLAS KODZO serving as Chairman for a second term.
