The Vice President Of The Republic Of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has commended the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho for conferring an honorary doctorate on Rev. Fr. Andrew Campbell whom he describes as his good friend.

The Vice President as a friend to the honouree also joined in the celebration of his feat of being conferred with an honorary doctorate for his humanitarian efforts

In a post cited by Agnus-Dei Media on the Vice President’s Facebook platform, he eulogized “his good friend” for his efforts and commended the university for the recognition.

“I also commend the University Council and Management for recognising my good friend Rev. Fr. Andrew Campbell’s humanitarian support services and conferring an Honorary Doctorate on him.

The University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho held its 5th Congregation in the infancy hours of November 6.

Government’s commitment

Addressing the congregation, the Vice President affirmed government’s continuous efforts in maintaining the highest standards in institutions of higher learning.

“I pledged Government’s continued support to our institutions of higher learning based on their merit in diverse ways to further improve teaching, learning and relevant research”, he said.
