Rev Fr Bright Kennedy Agyepong, under whose tutelage Bright Inspirations operates organized his first-ever cleanup exercise on the Somanya DC road and it environs in the early hours of Saturday, May 23, 2020, as part of efforts to raise awareness on issues concerning sanitation.

Fr Bright who is also Priest in charge of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in the Koforidua Diocese mobilized avid youth to clear weeds, distill choked gutters and clear off heaped rubbish from St Peter’s Parish which was the starting point through to the streets of Somanya DC and its environs.

Onlookers and residents commended the Priest for his uncustomary leadership and lauded him for manning the cleanup exercise in the area.

In an exclusive interview with ADM NEWS, the founder of Bright Inspirations explains that “the rationale is to rekindle the communal labor attitude in us, bring back the national sanitation week/day that would ultimately lead to protecting our environment”

“A clean environment is a key to our survival”, he added.

He also noted that the exercise would be carried out once every month to revive communal works at Somanya and the national sanitation program.
