Coronavirus could not prevent the Priestly Ordination of this Comboni Missionary, check out beautiful photos from the event

Saturday May 30, 2020, saw the Ordination of Deacon Constanz Opiyo, a Comboni Missionary, to the order of Priesthood at Lacor Seminary.

Constanz Opiyo together with one other Comboni missionary took their perpetual vows on August 23, 2019 at Alenga Parish in the Catholic Diocese of Lira with his his Diaconate ordination on the following day presided over by Bishop of Lira Diocese.

The other candidate was Elias Bagira Orishaba from Kabale Diocese. He had his pastoral experience, in Alenga Parish, Lira Diocese.

The Diocese calls for prayer for him as sets out with his ministry. “Let us pray for him and for all the priests and faithful to be more committed to God”, they said.
